Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hajjo Media (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and, where it applies to visitors from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

When you browse the site. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data that your browser sends — IP address, date and time of access, page visited, browser type and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and to detect misuse. These server logs are deleted after a short period.

When you use our contact form. We collect the details you enter: name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number (optional), the services you are interested in, your timing and your project description. We use this data only to answer your request, prepare a proposal and, if you hire us, to carry out the project. The form sends your request to us by email; we do not use it for newsletters.

When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or social media. We process the data you share with us in that conversation to respond to you. WhatsApp and social networks are run by third parties with their own privacy policies.

3. Legal bases

  • Your consent (for example the consent box in the contact form) — GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)
  • Steps prior to entering into a contract and performing a contract — GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)
  • Our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website and replying to enquiries — GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)
  • For the UAE: the corresponding grounds under the PDPL, in particular consent and the performance of a contract

4. Cookies and local storage

This website itself does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Technically necessary storage is used, for example to remember that you have closed the cookie notice. Logged-in site administrators additionally receive WordPress login cookies.

5. Embedded videos (YouTube)

Our project pages embed videos from YouTube, a service of Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When you play a video, a connection to Google’s servers is established and Google may process data such as your IP address and set cookies. For details see Google’s Privacy Policy.

6. Fonts

To display text consistently, this website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google’s servers for this, which transmits your IP address to Google.

7. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd.). Hostinger processes the server log data described above on our behalf.

8. Links to other websites

Our site links to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Google Maps. No data is sent to these services until you click a link. Once you leave our site, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

9. International transfers

Some of the providers mentioned above may process data outside the UAE or the EU, for example in the United States. Where required, such transfers are based on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to answer them and for any follow-up. If a project results from your enquiry, we keep the data for as long as legal retention periods require. Otherwise we delete it once it is no longer needed.

11. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details above. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority — in the UAE the UAE Data Office, and in the EU the authority in your country of residence.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.

How we store your enquiry

When you send the contact form, your details (name, email, phone, the services you selected, your message) are stored in a protected area of this website so that our team can answer and follow up on your request. To understand which channels bring enquiries, we also store which website or campaign referred you (for example Instagram, Google or an ad), the first page you visited and whether you used a phone or a computer. This information is kept only for the duration of your browser session until you send the form, is stored on our own server, is only accessible to the Hajjo Media team and is not shared with third parties. We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to handle your request and any resulting project, and delete them when they are no longer needed. You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your data.
